I need to join Superbuzzy Anonymous or something. I've resisted their temptation since April, but their siren call (in Japanese) tempted me once more and this is what the result is:
Czech Dancers - Yellow
Crowded Trees
Russian Gingerbread Boy - Pink
Russian Gingerbread Boy - Blue
Russian Gingerbread Boy - Yellow
Echino - Flower - Olive
Mini Panda - Pink
Rabbit Village - Cream
It's not like I don't have enough japanese fabric to work with, but gee, I needed some new stuff! And so there goes my entire supply fund. I hope to make it up with the little things I plan to create with the above listed fabric. I love the Russian fabric. I used to be a geek about anything russian, so japanese + russian is just a big thrill!
I've been on a sewing hiatus, however. I don't know if i mentioned this already, but my machine went kaput! in the days before Kraftworks last month. I finally got it in to the local Sew and Vac place close to my home. I should have asked around for recommendations, as this place SUCKS. The machine has been there almost two weeks. What the owner failed to tell me is that he has a contract technician who only comes in once or twice a week to pick up/drop off machines. Give me a break. If I don't receive a call tomorrow telling me it is done, there will be some thread flying. Hmmph! There is more I could tell you about the service and the shop itself, but it's just a waste. If you want to know where NOT to go, email me and i'll be happy to warn you.
